Ingredient

Glutathione

HyperpigmentationAnti-Aging

A powerful antioxidant found naturally in the body that brightens uneven skin tone and reduces the appearance of dark spots by gradually slowing melanin production. Unlike harsh bleaching agents, it works progressively to create a more even, luminous complexion over time. Look for 0.5–2% in serums and ampoules; visible results typically develop after 8–10 weeks of consistent use.

Oily SkinDry SkinSensitive SkinHyperpigmentationAnti-Aging

Skin with dark spots, post-acne marks, or uneven tone — glutathione brightens gradually with low irritation risk, making it a reliable choice where stronger brightening agents have caused sensitivity.

Also suitable for oily skin, dry skin, sensitive skin and combination skin.

Combinations that work

  • Vitamin CBrightening

The two regenerate each other: vitamin C converts oxidised glutathione back to its active form, and glutathione does the same for oxidised vitamin C. The antioxidant effect holds longer than either on its own.

  • NiacinamideBrightening

Glutathione acts as an antioxidant on pigment formation; niacinamide blocks the transfer of finished pigment to surface cells. Both are gentle enough for daily use, which matters — pigment work is slow.

Combinations to avoid

Glutathione has no documented conflicts with anything else in this library. It can sit anywhere in a routine.
