Your skin, your steps.

Korean skincare is not a trend to follow. It’s a method — layered, intentional, built around what your skin actually needs.

It will answer the question behind your question — with the reasoning, the limitations, and an honest no when something isn’t right for you. Until it opens, I answer them myself.

Dear Aesu, I have large pores and oily skin, but my skin stings a bit. Help me with my routine.

The stinging matters more than the pores. A barrier has gone thin — either the skin was never oily but dehydrated and is making extra sebum to compensate, or something too strong has worn it down.

Pause the strong actives for a few days: no BHA, AHA, retinol, vitamin C or high-percentage niacinamide.

Then rebuild: a gentle cleanser, a hyaluronic acid or PDRN serum, and a moisturiser that hydrates without sitting heavy.

Shall I suggest products and a routine?
