Rice Cream
Rice bran water as the first ingredient, at 41%, built around Ceramide NP. No niacinamide and no acids — this step is here to seal, not to treat.
Active ingredient
Rice Bran Water (41%), Ceramide NP, Phytosphingosine, Panthenol
What it does
The real benefit
Ceramide NP with phytosphingosine is barrier chemistry rather than decoration: both are lipids the skin builds its own barrier from, and replacing them is one of the better-supported things a moisturiser can do. That matters more than usual in a brightening routine, because a compromised barrier is what turns everyday inflammation into pigmentation in the first place. The rice bran water base is genuinely 41% and gives the cream its slip, though it is doing hydration rather than treatment.
What it does not
The honest limits
It will not brighten. Rice extract is often marketed for tone, but at this concentration in a leave-on cream you should expect barrier support, not a change in pigmentation. It will not be enough occlusion on its own for very dry skin in a Swiss winter. And the 41% is a headline number — rice bran water is largely a hydration base, not an active dose.

How to use
An almond-sized amount as the last step before sunscreen in the morning. Warm between palms and press on in sections rather than rubbing. Give it two minutes to settle before sunscreen goes on top.
