Aesu’s POV

True benefit

True benefitthe filter system is the reason to buy it. Four photostable organic filters covering UVA-1 through UVB, in a texture light enough that reapplication actually happens, which is the only thing that makes any SPF number real. Centella at 9,800 ppm is disclosed and genuine, but it is soothing rather than treating — do not expect it to do the work of the ampoule. Note that this is the organic-filter serum, not the mineral Air-Fit Suncream: there is no zinc oxide or titanium dioxide in it, and no white cast as a result.

What it does

The real benefit

The filter system is what you are buying. DHHB and Tinosorb M cover UVA-1 — the long wavelengths that drive pigmentation and photoageing — while Uvinul T 150 and Iscotrizinol handle UVB, and all four are photostable, meaning they do not degrade over a day of wear the way older filters do. That combination is what the PA++++ rating reflects, and broad UVA cover is the single most evidence-based intervention there is for keeping skin from ageing faster than it needs to. Centella asiatica at 9,800 ppm is a disclosed, meaningful concentration that adds documented soothing action during the SPF step. The serum texture is not a marketing detail: a sunscreen light enough to reapply is the only kind whose SPF number means anything.

What it does not

The honest limits

It will not brighten, fade or treat anything — it protects the work the rest of a routine does. It is not water-resistant, so swimming or heavy sweating means reapplying. On very dry skin it is not enough hydration on its own; it needs a moisturiser underneath. And SPF 50 only behaves like SPF 50 at roughly a quarter teaspoon for the face — most people apply a third of that, which is where the protection is actually lost.

Ritual

How to use

Apply generously as the final step of your morning routine, after all serums and moisturiser have fully absorbed. Use approximately one-quarter teaspoon (1.5–2 ml) for full face coverage — underapplication significantly reduces SPF protection. This is your SPF step, not a supplement to another sunscreen. Reapply every two hours of direct sun exposure.
