Tinosorb M

Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol. A UV filter that works two ways at once — it absorbs UVA and UVB like an organic filter and scatters light like a mineral one. It is photostable, so it does not break down in sunlight the way older filters do, and it covers the full UVA range that deepens pigmentation over time. Approved in Switzerland and the EU, not in the US.
