A lightweight moisturizing ingredient that pulls water into the skin and holds it there, while also soothing irritation and supporting the skin's natural repair process. Compatible with virtually every other skincare ingredient and suitable for all skin types. Effective from 1%, with most products using 1–5% for hydration and barrier repair benefits.

- Centella AsiaticaCalming
Panthenol holds water and shortens the recovery time of an irritated barrier; centella lowers the inflammation that caused it. Together, the pairing for skin recovering from over-exfoliation.
- Hydrolyzed SpongeRepairing
Spicules exfoliate mechanically and leave the surface briefly more permeable. Panthenol applied afterwards shortens the recovery and reduces the redness that follows.
